chilenian duo c. cordova & deep kontrol breezes into the resopal label with their conversation ep. this brace of music comes strictly from the south american mind: electronic dancefloor tracks with an air of futurism. -wir im wir- fuses a bouncing, morning groove with stabbing operatic vocals and light synth keys. -not god- keeps things raw and minimal - furry snares, rolling beat structure, hallucinatory blips bleeps and a certain kinda jack. -storyteller- completes this ep: in a minimal and most modern house way. this ep goes straight tot he dancefloor.
limited collectors edition of 300 copies only of this rare italian disco funk studio project from 1977 run by pino presti. today is very rare but the value of this reissue is that contains for the first time ever all the original versions plus the long version that never saw the light, because for some reason both 12 and the 7 inch original vinyl contains only the short cuts (called part 1 / part 2).
cant stop listen the origlinal.. wow ...relative 16th instalment sees label head john swing back at the controls with a killer four track ep. the title track “get rhythm” comes with relative’s signature gritty house sound in its original mix while the arp mix shakes peak time dance floors with hypnotic arpeggios and rumbling drums. the b side opens up with a relentless african congas ride boosting the rhythmic section with an energetic afro feel. the -other version- closes this meteoric ep with a deep, jackin cut-throat groove.
here we present you a very special ep. riverettes first record of 2016 is a very special one indeed, comprised of two special tracks made by two very special artists. we have been holding onto this one for quite a while as we were afraid putting this two tracks on one record would be overkill, but screw it! - we have never believed there is such a thing as too much awesomeness.
side a sees legowelt doing an edit kind of song in the most legowelt way possible and its not even an edit. the result ... craziness my friends, as can only be done by the mad man himself.
side b is quite a different beast, and one that is quite dear to our heart, as it is the debut of local producing duo dos attack. not ones to release much info about themselves we only know that their debut track was so good it was decided to be put on the other side of a legowelt track.
amin peck is an electronic studio project, contaminated by the new wave from u.k. like most ’80s electronic bands. amin-peck walked a fine line between disco and minimal wave throughout the course of the early 1980s, oftentimes incorporating shameless pop melodies and avant-garde leanings. amin peck were an italian band leaded by giorgio fioroni (aka george fyron, arrangements, production, vocals) with leonard parker (arrangments, keyboards) and max marne (production). incredible but true, amin peck started as hard rock guitar band in the 70s... and becoming one of the best examples of italo disco. this limited edition it contains full-length versions plus uncut audio material (a2) tracked down during tape restoration. (the first pressing coming from 1982 was pressed only on 7inch in u.k.)
audiard’s expertise in sourcing non-western samples has been consistently documented by blank slate. with this release, he brings the international influence of his compositions to the forefront. rather than utilizing samples as building blocks in a typical dance music structure, audiard has opted for the nuanced approach of crafting his compositions around the samples. the result is a symbiotic relationship in which he delivers a new context for his carefully selected sounds.
radiating from the online world through a limited batch of puristic, meddling drum-programmed experiments, this three-track debut is a pure tour de force in experimental, jazz-infused, worm-hole techno and house. the undulating 808 underpins the overtly spectral sound-design canvas deployed across the ep, from the scatter-delayed percussive proto-congas on *-* to the piano melancholia employed on *--* and the erratic time-stretched mood-shift that pivots around the centre of the 11 minute jam *---*.
chris carrier delivers a box of steaming fresh hot techno jams with the latest release from his trusty adult only sub-label, sound carrier. over the last five years he has dropped five eps on the label, with this marking sound carrier’s sixth outing. as usual, the sounds here are a little more entrenched in the techno sound ethic.
keeping up the urgent pace set by the strength in numbers collection, thema now turns to a modern master of the jakbeat, d’marc cantu. hailing from ann arbor on the fringes of detroit, cantu has worked for more than a decade developing a sound that carries the torch from the box jam originators of techno and house music. his first appearances were alongside the mighty tadd mullinix (better known as james t. cotton) with their 2 am/fm project, before bringing traxx into the fold for the x2 venture. as a solo artist cantu has shored up on labels as highly regarded as crème organization, m>o>s, nation and desire, bringing a rich, full-bodied sound laden with powerful synth hooks, crafty drum programming and a live, jammed-out delivery that overflows with imagination. given his adventurous tendencies and punchy midwestern finish, cantu is a perfect fit on thema and the six tracks that make up this record show a great deal of the diversity the man is capable of, from dancefloor burners to atmospheric introspections.

legowelt returns to unknown to the unknown for another bunch of wonderful excursions through obsolete musical technology under the banner sampling winter. leading with the title track, this finds danny wolfers on a soulful and deep house vibe with a wandering and mesmerising melody, warm pads and super shuffling garage style rhythm. on the flip is “beach oceano” which is equally rich in soulfulness but more on the deeper techno vibe, with its sharp and hypnotising arpeggio backed by galactic melodies and glistening pads. all accentuated by analogue tape hiss in the background. this is raw!
some fragments of music of finish team in the second release after the big success of the first vinyl. music and magic pyramids sounds over your heads, make you listen and enjoy the crew. other 4 exclusive tracks from the ftr guys crew, real friends, real family. manu p, andrea rubolini, gabriele orsini & riccardo catria propose you a their best for your set. a techno groove and bass, a voice from the swamp make you follow the buzzards of tecky sounds: this is sister aby from manu. deeper & deeper is andrea with the other life, a deep tech track with magic synth bring you on the desert sky during all the track. live set, live love, love the music and the rhythm of a guy have lost the head: the headless of gabriele. it is a war of sounds, it s the war of riccardo: innominato not other words. are the fragments here, the family is behind, over and in front of you.
pocket money returns for their third release and they are back with what could easily be their strongest output yet. just hitting the ripe old age of one, and a couple of releases in, this label has found its stride nicely and starting to turn heads in the scene. taking the spotlight for the deep basics ep is the producer keepin soul, who may only have a handful of releases to his name but puts himself in the spotlight with this deep and meaningful pocket money release. this is a beautifully dusty sounding record, it opens up doing exactly what it says on the tin deep basics and doing them well. this a1 is all about hypnotic grooves undulating against the drive of crisp, warm and exciting percussive grooves.
this time tiefenrausch welcomes a new artist in their dub techno family. förster joins the label with his aqua viridis ep and presents a debut with three tracks. as part of his „grün“ series, every track stands for a different vibe of the genre. the a-side comes with a pumping, reduced smasher, that definetely aims on the dancefloor. side b brings more immersed deepnes. „grün xv“ and „grün xviii“ evoke an abyss and enwind the listener with dublime deepness. all covered up by the artwork of alex ketzer and the imagery from jules vernes „20.000 leagues under the sea“.
we dont know so many things about h330... except he seems to be from paris and kept sending us dope music since 2 years...the only thing we know is that the artist behind this name got strong skills, a big knowledge of house music, and a lot of soul... here are the 2 original tracks ( and an edit of one of them) that we decided to release on concrete music. definitely not the last ones..
ilija rudman is quite a unique character. a fact reinforced by listening to some of the records from his vast catalogue, taking a walk through his next level studio or simply talking to him. preferably, all three at once, as it is often the case. authenticity is the word that comes to mind when describing the work of this leading croatian artist or while listening to the material we are proud to put out on 12th burek release. the record features three cuts.
fulgeance drops his own vision of club funk and future beats. 4 original tracks that prove fulgeance has no limit in sound. from dreamy vocoder poetry to broken dance moves, this ep is complete. even more with 2 remixes from claude (fulgeance bipolarity project) this one is for the 4/4 djs dollkraut the new sensation from amsterdam, analogue sound wizard as they’re calling him.

mark e last delivered on futureboogie back in november 2014, so it’s a welcome return to the label for the birmingham based dj & producer. with his merc imprint running on full steam, and previous releases on revered labels like spectral sound and running back, mark is becoming an ever dependent exponent of the real and raw house music vibe, and no more so than on the basement trax ep. basement trax 1, distorted synths wander over a low-slung beat, the marching hi-hats and filter work are tweaked to perfection. it’s a track of basic elements, but done so well, the arrangement building steadily and bags of warmth and soul deep at the heart of this track. the gnarly bass and classic string sounds of basement trax 2 make an ideal companion piece to the a side. delivered in the finest wild-pitch tradition, the raw sounding production packs a punch as the stomping drums and repetitive keys ramp up the heat for a real blazer of an underground club cut.
following the recent acclaimed release of his “space” lp, on which bruno “patchworks” hovart transformed himself into patchworks galactic project for a fantastic musical trip, favorite recordings proudly presents this new 2 tracks remix ep. on the a side, rising uk producer ny*ak provides a blowing version of “surrounded by the gobblins”. what do the letters stand for? why the asterisk?” you ask. the origin of the asterisk has something to do with donating dates of birth on family trees, from back in the medieval times. in music, an asterisk denotes when a sustain pedal should be lifted. ny – new york? ak – alaska? is it something to do with the three stooges? nyak nyak nyak… it leaves the mind thirsty for answers... in reality andrew scott, the man behind ny*ak, banged his computer keyboard in frustration one day – and out came ny*ak. if that’s taken the shine off it a little, we’re not worried. listen to any of andrews tracks and we guarantee you’ll be drawn straight back in, but this time – deeper. for the b side, underground house producer kool vibe also delivers a brilliant rendition of “gobblins are gone”. producer & owner of kv records (paris), record collector since 1993, and definitely part of the new deep house music scene that is emerging from france at the moment, laurent, aka kool vibe, was born in paris in 1970. kool vibe s music reflects the best of the 90s house music sound that he manages to love so much. in 2011 and 2012, his first releases have been cult tracks out on “my love is underground” and “traxx underground” imprints.
we were working on this record for 2 years and finally we are ready to show you this one. double record with 3 outstanding and original tracks from russian producer andrey zots and 2 remixes from famous for their works romanian friends dan andrei and nea marin. underground, intelligent.. as we like. amazing gatefold cover, 180g and vinyl only.
with ceres, rebecca von kalinowsky marks her first release on rote liebe. an athmospheric and bass-heavy offering, this one-sided vinyl will fit into techno and half-step settings alike.
skin and bone. a face featureless, white linen. the debut 12” of funeral future greets you with a cold hand and welcomes you into this dark night of the soul. manic pulse, cutting hi-hats, and funereal leads. techno has never sounded this elegiac.
reclaim your city continues its journey in search for fresh originals from techno-centric regions across the globe. on this fourth release in their devoted series, stockholm and helsinki are being represented by four leading lights in the new wave of european techno. constantly gaining momentum and strength, ryc abducts us once again in a world of overwhelming deepness to stomping, percussive weapons primed for expansive spaces and killer sound systems.
as the dust settles on eduardo s most successful year to date – a year that saw him release his debut album >the intellinet prophecy< and drop science on labels such as badance, nonplus, mental groove and his own analogue solutions – the spanish super-producer propels into the new year with another broad, rich statement of musical intent: this time on marco faraone’s and norman methner s uncage. a label that doesnt just nurture unbridled, freeform creativity but insists upon it, uncage ignited late 2015 with marco s mesmerising >rotaryknobs< and remixes from both radio slave and markus suckut. each artist setting the bar high with their own unique take on techno, it s a tough release to follow. naturally, though, eduardo delivered a wonderful ep. and he’s done so with three beautiful original compositions ranging from cosmic techno to velvet jazz and subdued, poignant house. dig deep...
hafendisko’s hamburg elektronisch is back with a delicious teaser ahead of the third album of the series. once more the label stands up and shouts about the city’s rich and diverse electronic music scene. the series so far has brought together local legends and up and coming artists alike - showing the world that hamburg’s famous modesty hides an embarrassment of riches. this vinyl only ep lands prior to the full compilation, and features some exclusive reasons to get very excited
yachting club, if the name evokes a leisurely walk on the deck of a boat, the first ep of yxc reveals the depth of an imaginary journey that does not lack elegance. released in september 2015, captain s memories invites us to a timeless journey into the intricacies of sound, which combines, post industrial clatter of a fantastic boat, unceasing sea rolls, and the harmonies of souvenir.the slow and hypnotic groove, between brokenbeat, abstract, downtempo and film music gives way to reverie but often reveals a delicate nostalgia. quick descriptions of tracks : “havre” describes the encounter between our main character and a local tribe, the broken beat leaves places to their chant both welcoming and threatening.“ancient horror”. on a disturbing 90’s hip hop beat, synths and brass sample narrates the epic fight between the captain and a mythical beast. “captain’s memories”: this beatless track, punctuated by agonizing strings invites us to journey with the captain’s nostalgia, the sea he traveled, the women he met..
mono junks dum records has been dictating trends in the world of minimalistic techno since the 1990s, and its 34th release is as special as any. this one comes from label boss kimmo rapatti aka mono junk vs mesak, who is better known as fellow finn, tatu metsätähti, aka one half of mr velcto fastener and someone who has released on dexter & steffis klakson. together the pair serve up three mixes of their jam and an additional track. title track deep in my mind is a paranoid techno cut with freaky vocal riffs repeating the title as gurgling synth lines and sleek drums rumble below. twitchy synths and high pressure perc add to the hypnotic effect, and overall its easy to see this one making for some perfectly weird dance floor moments. the mix by mono junk is completely the opposite: in his hands it is a beat-less, serene and beautifully styled electro cut that takes you deep into brain soothing space. the electro mind version is then a full on electro jam, with plenty of aqueous synths and fluid lines all squiggling along in classic detroit style. final track sysdrum is back to the raw, with angsty drum lines, crisp and slapping snares and oodles of reverb all making for a brain frying trip.
